    When's your birthday?

Bloody hell, today has been a really happy day for me. Everyone smiling at me, had a great day, as if it's a birthday.

So in a celebratory mood, when's your birthday, this question goes out especially to Basie.
When it comes, I'll declare a NFM forum day in your honour as the oldest one here.

Thanks Romanis, but I'll keep that secret.Just let it be known that I am the only poster on this board born the other side of WW2. Life for me was not much different from what it is now and much more open space. My dad was a D Day Dodger in sunny Italy and my mum spent a lot of time in Lincolnshire building airfields for Bomber Command. My grand dad acted as my father during this spell. Being a baker and allotment holder we never went short. - view external link

Aye, surviving the war was an accomplishment, many were left as orphans, even the King lost a brother in the War, the present day Duke of Kent's father.

You're old enough to know that 'WW2' is the 'Second World War' on this side of the Atlantic.

Pedantic, yes but Americanisms really get my goat (guys).
I want to punch Steve Wright In The Afternoon In The Face every time he gives the date as 'two thousand four****'.

Errm sorry to tell you this, but your birthday is still yet to be verified.

Everyone's asking themselves, how or where the hell did you turn up from?
