    talking to chairman today

about funds to bring players in.
    TODAY!!!!! A bit late.
May wait for loan window to open.

Reading between lines 'going with what we've got' again.
Trip to Hartlepool next season then!

7.30 and nothing done from what I'm aware, really does show a lack of intent from the board

I wonder if we could persuade David Conn to update the chapter of his book The Beautiful Game in which John Bowler is presented as an all-seeing, all-knowing sage?

It seems fairly obvious that his idol has feet of clay.

To be fair John Bowler has the interests of this club at heart but he doesn't control the club, if he had the majority of the shares at his disposal I'm sure things would be different.

JB is getting on a bit now and has seen the best he is likely to see again and so maybe its time to stand aside along with Dario and let some young blood in the boardroom. As Chairman he had no right to allow a fellow Director to take money out of the cash account and not repay it back in cash for the benefit of the club and first team. That should have been a resigning matter, along with Dario who also must have agreed with it.

I very much doubt the majority shareholder could have carried on after such a public stink!

If NH has 51% of the shares then no, he controls the club and there's nothing any of the other directors can do about it.
