Pundits are a necessary evil, I get that. Some are very good at it, others not so. I actually like Linekar, and Shearer is okay, if dull and predictable (similar to England and times). What I find disappointing, is these guys have played for England, know the pressure, know the critique can be harsh. However, they have also both played in some shocking games for England, played in some poor teams with poor results. They also played in teams that under performed. Neith won feck all in an England shirt.
If they feel so strongly about England, then perhaps they should get up from behind their glass desks, off the comfortable leather seats and get involved with coaching in the game. - view external link

The cricketers seem to be the worst at the minute.
Graham Swann retires mid series and goes home because he says he's not up to it, rather than just ask to be dropped and stay around the team helping, yet the c unt has the neck to be sticking the knife in every 5 minutes.
I like Michael Vaughan but he's being incredibly hypocritical at present too and having to back track.
Neither of them had the bo llocks to offer these suggestions publicly when they were inside the camp, yet as soon as they're on radio they have all the answers.
My thoughts on Graham Swann also. Going gets tough, he doesn't fancy it, yet he can slag off Cook in the press saying "its because i'm his mate". Pr1ck.
I liked Swann, until he left mid-tour, what an absolute w a n k e r.
Vaughan as skipped on the other hand has given me my best cricketing memories, not a word said against.
My all-time favourite player however is Marcus Trescothick, shame he had to make himself unavailable for selection those years ago![]()

graeme swann thought of himself as a rock star...
the rest of us know he is a complete and utter f#ckwit...
Can you change anything without experimenting?! can you make an omelette without breaking eggs?!
Ok maybe the Norway match was boring, ( not that i would know, never got to see it, ) but it was a friendly, and they are golden opportunities to try out new things, you know ! those new things so many have been moaning to see.
His choices may have seemed bazaar, but you cant necessarily scrap an idea until you have tried it.
Should we be building a team for the near future?! Or should we continue to rely on the same culprits whom all have slagged off in the past?!
One thing , i would hate the England managers job, even more than i would hate to be Fat Sam, People seem to look for the negatives and not the positives when it comes to England.
Take the WC for instance, the main focus seemed to be on the fact that it was the first time we were defeated in the first game for so many years, forget the fact it could happen at any time. and had we drawn the first and lost the others, the pers
England are ranked 20th in the world and don't have a single player in the final 25 for European footballer of the year. Woy is neither over-performing or under-performing, he is precisely at level par so criticism is a little unfair.
England will qualify from their group but when they get to the Euro's there will be 10-15 participating teams who are better. The ex players ought to know exactly how average England are and shouldn't get caught up in the razzmatazz and expectation surrounding the team.
