Surprised Andy Cowan isn't on it . He's a tactical genius on the P&B site

Why would we want Lennon, Calderwood or Butcher? The one thing they have in common is failure. For example, let's look at the managerial career of Terry Butcher who seems to have the support of some contributors. Sacked by Coventry, sacked by Sunderland, sacked by Sydney, sacked by Brentford and, of course, sacked by Hibs after a short but disastrous period in charge at Easter Road. He had modest success at Motherwell, taking them to a League Cup Final which they lost 1 - 5: and he did have a good spell at ICT but as for the rest of his managerial career - failure, failure, failure, failure and yet more failure. Is that what we really want? Do we really want a manager whose main qualification for the job is past failure? Remember Gus MacPherson and what a disaster he was at Queens. I wouldn't like to judge Garry Locke after last season at Hearts: and would he want to leave Kilmarnock? We took a punt on AJ and look how successful that was. If Barry Robson is indeed interested why not?

Gary Locke for me please as first choice.Got a Hearts team playing for him after feeling down for themselves with points reduction last season.
A good percentage still with them this season, and think that shows with the results they have had so far.
Same could be said with McIntyre taking on Magic's role.
We have a decent squad if we get them all fit again.
Locke had to motivate a young team, which he done well.We have a squad in place for him already that can do well in this league.
Only thing i would say is i hate clubs poaching managers,or number 2'sas we have had done to us all to often lately
Will/would we go down the same route?
