    Pat Neil

As often is the case when Truss members meet a lively discussion takes place.. Pat Neil was a topic yesterday and I said I would find out how many games he did play. In the 55/56 season it was 9 League games, scoring 3 goals. He then went to Wolves, returning for the 62/63 season playing just 1 League game and 1 F.A Cup but didn't score. So it was a total of 11, 3 goals scored. I have read that Pat remains an active member of the Pompey ex players association and is in his later 70s in age now. What was the other thing I was going to find out Adder and Scully ?

Pompey's Pat Neil spent many years as Assistant headmaster at Midhurst Secondary Schoolin the late 1970s, before moving back to the Portsmouth area. Good player, very decent mman.

Where is Bonz N'Gala now? I think that was it LDB.

I was right about Neil, didn't play that many and went to Wolves. Sure he was an ex-Grammar School boy but not the Southern where I was.
