    Jonny Ertl

Very relieved we resisted all offers from Premier League clubs for our Club Captain.

I think the Tertle would have done better than those two central midfielders on Saturday. His passing is ten times better for a start and he wouldn't have just been lumping it forward. They were hardly mobile either.

Matt Pollock for me, plenty of others though. Tony Dobson had a bigger turning circle than an oil tanker, Tommy Youlden, Bobby McGuiness etc etc.

Only one of those I saw Gun was Dobson. And while he was distinctly average, he was at least playing 2 levels above dearest Johnny.

Lovely guy, tries hard, wants to do his best...but wow does he stink.

When I saw him on the bench on Saturday, I felt like walking out. He is that bad!

Apart from a special exception to the rule for Chris Burns, a crap player in div 1 or 2 has got to logically be better than a crap div 4 reserve?
