    Bolton news re Freedman

Reading between the lines i think the Bolton news are encouraging Bolton fans to protest more:

Freedman looks like a man who could use some clarity on the job front because while he insists he is “still the man” to take the club forward, the exact destination and means of transportation are still a bit of a mystery to many of us.

If, as seems to be the case, the Scot will continue to lead the club through this period of austerity it may be a bitter pill to swallow for many of his critics but at least it would prevent some of the rather lukewarm protests that have started to emerge on the terraces.

While the bile spews readily on the social media sites, those dwindling numbers who are paying to watch the team are hardly presenting a united voice of any description.

Apathy could well prove to be the main problem at Wanderers, from top to bottom.

Certainly when compared to the fire and brimstone that used to rain down regularly at Gary Megson – less than five years ago, no less – the

Marc Iles has got it spot on there. Sensible, balanced and accurate!!!

Disagree about Gordon Sharrock though whatsmore but then i was probably influenced by my dad who used to spew bile very time he read Gordon's column. His favourite, and often repeated line was "I see Sharrock's been round to the Warburton's for his tea again last night and been fed the back page of tonight's BEN as his main course"

I quite like Mark Iles, I've always found him an honest guy and I don't think he sits on the fence either. Iles has publically said that the Ben are trying to speak to Gartside, but to no avail.

I remember Sharrock and I wasn't a fan of his either and I'm pretty sure he was a Man U fan, which didn't help matters.
