The Danger As I see it...

I came away from that game last night and I can hardly say I was overly upset because I expected it and Im sure there were a few others who felt likewise. We as fans are now accepting of results in the cups that we would have been going ballistic about 10 years ago. The resigned acceptance of we are p1sh, we can't have or expect better is now starting to solidify within parts of our support. Love or Loathe him LS has a point when he says

"Attitudes Iike 'ah we're a small club, no money, no fan base' are what McCall and those higher at Fir Park thrive on, because it reeks of a losers mentality and it excuses pathetic showings in important cup ties which have the potential to bring revenue into the club and perhaps even more importantly, attract some of he he stay away fans back because Cup runs for a club like ours are what keeps interest going... Someone on here a couple of years back when Rangers were still around put forward the suggestion that the club should start fining the players every time they lost to Rangers with the fine increasing with each failure.

Drastic as that may be I reckon that would be a good idea now with our cup performances as we cannot continually go out like this year in year out so I would suggest that if we go out of the Scottish Cup in the 4th Round to anyone other than Celtic then the players and the manager should be docked wages. As I said its drastic but something needs to be done.

The club, as the employer are entitled to impose sanctions on its employees if they continually fail to deliver results which are financially crucial to the club. If I failed repeatedly to meet my targets in my work then I would be subject to disciplinary action so the players and manager at a football club should be no different.

When you dont have a captain at the helm of a ship its going to go tits up and Motherwell since the summer for me have been run like a headless chicken there is next to no structure at the club.

We need to sort the club out its clear the fan run idea is not going to happen so rather than wait and wait its about time we looked at every other option to progress

we need a chairman with a business sense about them cause as soon as Dempster left the club for me feels like they dont have a clue what they are doing.Ojamaa has been a next to nothing signing i would send him back save on loan fee and get in a free transfer.

And its a cup boys we never preform in them last night was a given..We will win on Saturday!

The more the board come out with statements were skint, cant afford this that and the next thing, that is good reason for people having a losers mentality, the board seem to except failure with ease.
Motherwell are a club on the downward spirral due to our finanacial situation, and its only going to get worse year over year unless there is a major investor in the club not looking for a return, or major cash injection to scottish football as a whole.Resullts on the pitch will resemble this situation as squad will continue to deterate in numbers and quality.
