    Beckford Out..

He has totally dried up the sooner he goes the better if he keeps playing we will never get out of the bottom 3 if only Gartside had not blown all the money we could of bought the Juke he would have been banging them in for us!

It feels like we've been here a million times.

    Elmander, Ngog, now Beckford...

We have a habit of paying over the odds for strikers, having massive expectations of them, and having no patience with them when they can't hit a barn door.

I actually think Beckford could do a good job for us. There were periods last season where he looked like a top class striker for this level. All he needs is a bit of stability, which it looks like he might get under Lennon (unlike Freedman), and some confidence, which he might get if the fans didn't treat him like a murderer every time he misses a chance.

I think he's spent dan he should of walked when his mate Freedman got sacked,i've lost count of the chances he has squandered.

I'm not a Beckford fan and I'm pretty sure he's out of contract at the end of this season as well. Beckford isn't much better than N'Gog imo and he does need plenty of chances before he scores a goal.

Beckford can go, Craig Davies puts a shift in, but that's it, Mason I rate, but he isn't our player, I do quite like the look of Max Clayton, but he's still a kid.

Lennon really needs a couple of strikers and it will be interesting to see if he can bring in some much needed quality.

I rate Beckford but he needs service...of a particular kind. He needs balls playing into space, behind the defence, that he can run onto, and he's rarely had that because our midfield and wingers have found it completely beyond them to do anything other than pass the ball sideways or to the opposition.

If Lennon can teach our players to do that then he might come good, otherwise he'll always get criticised because he's not one to score goals from poaching in the box or powering past defenders.

We knew what we got when we bought him so I won't have a go at him when he's had few chances to show his strengths

I wasn't there so can't comment. Lennon's style of play would seem to suit him more than Dougie's but it's down to him now. If he goes much longer without scoring he'll run out of any sympathy that's due to him

Its not as though he hasn't done it elsewhere. He is a rated striker. Freedman never gave him a fair chance.

I think Lennon will work on him and try to give him confidence, strikers thrive if they are confident. Everyone is going to be really pissed off if he goes to another club and starts to bang the goals in.

Lets wait and see under new management

I think he's had long enough we are still in the bottom 3 and we are desperate for a proven goal scorer!

But half the time he has not played, or he has been played as a late substitute.

And if he did play and played reasonably well, that imbecile Freedman didn't play him next time.

None of them knew whether they were coming and going. Freedman was anti football.

If there is anything there, lets see if Lennon can get it out of him. If he can, we have a valuable asset on our hands.

If not, well a few on here will be happy. Another one to slag off.
