    Registration/ logging on problem

Are there any problems with this as my dad has registered with the username Charlie Wayman.
After completing the registration process he tried to log on using the relevant details required only for it to say username not known.
Is there a technical issue or are we both doing something wrong?

'Charlie Wayman' is showing as the newest registered user at the bottom of the page so it appears that the account was correctly registered.

Thinking about it, I did have a couple of problems logging in earlier today - unsure why, and it resolved itself pretty quickly. Not sure whether that's in any way related.

I'll text a mod I know and see if he can check the account 'from within'..

    Cheers mate

I tried logging on for him on my computer and what happened for him happened for me as well, so it wasn't a "senior moment"

Probably not directly related to this but more generally I find if the user is coming back not recognised try your e-mail address.

    Any joy, Shotts ?

Long shot, but could the space in the username be causing an issue ? Had a quick flick around the boards and didn't spot any others with gaps.

    Just a thought.

Like others have said try logging on using his e-mail address rather than his username.

You may also need to re-register and underscore the username - Charlie_Wayman

Whatever his first post is, it better be worth it given the effort.

    No pressure !!

Since the recent 'upgard' I've noticed that you can now registers with spaces and not underscores so I'm not sure that's the problem. Probably best to use his email address.

Come on Papa Shotts, get posting!

Would be an excellent addition to the board.
