    What happens to stadiums when football clubs leave?

    A good article in link below regarding what happens to grounds when clubs move to new stadiums. Higbury and Dell Stadium are two i never went to. - view external link

    up ere hull city fill this situ.

    they finally left the old boothferry park stadium in 2002



    the original concept was for some 235 or so new
    houses/flats to be built ,



    city now play at the KC stadium and ground share with rugby superleague team, hull fc

    diffo finding pics of wolves playing at boothferry park , but ere is the programme
    for the old div2 fixture from 1976

    We also played them there on 15th October 1966,remember it well as I got married on that day,picked that day as miserable trip those days so good away trip to miss!!Actually it was on the radio and I listened to it on my way to London for our honeymoom.Lost 3-1,Bailey scored , never mind got promoted with Coventry.Crowd at match 32522.

    Only ever went there once, and had one of the away ends where there wasn't much distance from pitch to back of stand, not much width from where we were situated anyway.

    I started going away that season, but never went to Sacarborough. I had to wait for the ban to end. Swansea City was my first ever away game.

    Part two in link below. One ground listed is Maine Road. I never managed to go there, one regret for me, always a ground that appealed to me. There's some great old photos of the other grounds listed. Some great memories for me on my travels. - view external link
