Thats about double the normal and for a game live on telly thats not bad. Maybe the penny will drop with the authorities running the game

During the game it said on the score board there was 922 utd fans at the game. Not a bad turn out from them. The voucher scheme looked like it worked. I hope other clubs can do something similar.

First of all uninted are top of the league playinv against a underachieving Motherwell team so even without voucher scheme you may have seen a slight increase. But difficult to say. I like many others have been calling for some sort of voucher scheme for away fans. I have felt for sometime a discount card fans could buy at the start of a season that would give football fans the opportunity to purchase tickets for away games at a dicounted price. Or vouchers in programs for your teams next away game.Would be a couple of great Iideas. Clubs could do different discounts. Kids in for free or a free pie and hot drink. Unfortunately Hearts and Rangers will be coming back up next season and these clubs are unlikely to participate in such schemes.
Going to be interesting how many we take to tannadice in January. If we are still struggling I don't think any voucher scheme will make a difference.

Friday night wasn't the best game in which to test the voucher, given the KO time and fact that it was on TV. It would have been interesting if it had been a 1500 hrs Saturday KO, and not on TV. Had it not been televised, United may well have brought 1500+ fans fans.
