    Ad block problem

Couldn't access because I have ad block but back on again, if this site goes down permanently (which if it was a test it may well do) and I take it not many will pay £2 a month to view ad free, what message board will people be joining?

I've not had a problem with getting on here with ******* running. Did you get a message or something lord that said you couldn't access the site because of *******??

I doubt I'd pay money to go on a forum so if this board disappeared I'd probably disappear with it.

Can't say that any of the other message boards appeal to me

It's just done it to me. Said it had detected ad blocking software.

Had to access it via my iPad as its unusable without the ******* running on my laptop.

Think you are right. The end is nigh

After all these problems I've had with this site and then they make you disable *******. I don't think anyone on here will even click on a advert, especially now HaHa. This site is so unstable anyway, pages take longer to load, hiccups after it loads(page flashes).
If the site does go,I'll just be in the background on one of the other ones,BA,WW.Don't like them very much,to much drama between posters on them. We'll see how long it lasts.

Well what a load of bollox this is. Hate allowing the ads, this site is s**t enogh to get onto without a load of ads running. I dont mind paying for stuff I have in life but for a message board? I dont fkin think so!

Can't we start our own or just all invade burnden aces, cough, having said that its full of juvenile halfwits calling each others all day long.

or.. we could set up a facebook group and could all post on there, suppose that could be hard work though.

If you're on Google Chrome go to your extensions and type in 'ScriptSafe'. Then click the 'free' button opposite the Scriptno icon Scriptsafe.

It works but the smileys and like buttons don't work and you can't use the drop down menu to get on another board. I'm sure tech minded folk out there could sort that out through the options, but not me.

Remember to disable it when you go on other sites though.

Its certainly a solution Stan but a bit "Heath Robinson"

I used Scriptsafe once before and got rid of it as it totally screwed up my online banking as well as other stuff. I also found that it disabled most of the functions on this site.

Sadly I think that this is the death of FootyMad. I'm on my iPad now and it is just about usable apart from the odd advert blocking half the screen occasionally. The vast majority won't pay to use a forum, many won't bother with Scriptsafe and if you mainly use a laptop you're ****ed as some of the adverts appear to contain Trojan viruses.

I suspect that Footymad will wither and die as people stop using it and by the time that they realise the clanger that they've dropped it will be too late.

A shame. I realise that they need an income to maintain the site but the sheer number of ads made it unusable. It was fine with a reasonable number but ******* always blocks at least 17 ads which is way too many.

I refuse to pay to come on here. If they are t
