    Saints v Mancs Match Thread

Never done one of these before, so thought I would give it a go.

With two defeats in a row, and an injury list that's worrying to say the least i'm hoping that Ron can help the team pull something out of the bag tonight.
The Mancs are looking for five wins on the trot, so will be full of confidence, but still have the same problems in defence in my view, and have relied on some heavy doses of luck in their last four games.
Having said that we will need to be on top of our game no doubt about that, but I don't buy into the hype that they will finish in the top four, or even above us come to that.
I'm assuming that Cork, and Alderwiereld, Shneiderlin will be absent, so my team would be
    Forster
    Clyne Fonte Yoshida Bertrand

    Wanyama Davis Long

    Tadic Pelle Mane

Hoping they start with a real desire to win, unlike against Man City, when they showed them too much respect. This is a winnable game, and would set

Mane on the bench and Harrison Reed starting for me. I'd like to see Shlong in a more advanced role just behind Pelle too.

Manyoo's defence is crap, we should totally take the game to them.

Thought the Arce game was worth a draw and although we have players out this one means a lot to Ron so I'm sure we will be up for it. COYS.

We were the best team until we gifted them a goal, and been the better since, 1-1 is the least we deserve.

For the ump****th time the commentary tells us how poor United are playing as Saints pile on the pressure. Talk about one eyed - W**kers

Isn't it lovely that Saints are in their traditional, generous Christmassy mood once again.

Gives me a nice, warm, glowy feeling so it does !

Injuries aside, if we give away sloppy goals through individual errors and poor defending and at the same time spurn our chances, then we get what we deserve...nowt.

RVP loves playing against us, I mean really !! :/

Got back home late from the game - train mess up at Woking

We can play all the pretty football we want, its the ones that go in the net that count. It seemed to me Saints wanted to walk the ball in the net .. we were shot shy and didn't take our chances. Plus some bad defensive errors. So we got what we deserved.

Bit like match play golf .. if you don't roll in the crunch putts , your gonna get beat. End of!
