BBC not the club started the runour about a South American buyout and so speculation began from there. I think it was the the Well Society that said recently there were no other rival bids for ownership.

We could make money as a reality show if we had Paolo in charge!

Heard on radio clyde tonight there's a foreign consortium close to taking over St Mirren. Wonder if it's Nobby Solanos mob?

Now wouldnt that be deliciously typical of Motherwells luck that the South american Mob buy St Mirren and they are a run away success leaving us to hold up the rest of the league...

Radio Clyde's information usually comes from a certain Chico Young ... Oxford dictionary's definition of him is 'gullable little Midden/Sevco koont'.
I'll choose not to entertain the notion that Tony Montana and his mates are taking over the Paisley mob

ST Mirren are welcome to the south american mob as i cant see how that can possibly work as would need work permits and only internationalists seem to be getting them from south america currently and feel they would get fed up eventually and as no connection with club could run into ground look what happened at ibrox with owners who didnt give a toss about rangers

If the South American option was as good as people would have us believe then I am certain the current board would have jumped at the chance. I can only assume that the board (that is constantly being slated on here) are operating in the bests interest of Motherwell Football Club and see this as a non starter, I for one am grateful for that.

Absolutely. I don't fancy a South American syndicate taking over at all. Their number one priority would most certainly not be MFC.
