Great to see that Lauri Dalla Valle is back on trial at Reaseheath.
I liked him when he was on loan from Fulham and I think his style of fast flowing football will fit neatly with having two front men who know what a goal looks like.
It's turning into quite an enjoyable week for me - first Mellor being an arrogant prat; then we get Uche and Ajose; then Mitchell gets told he is a liar; then LDV comes back to South Cheshire. Is it Christmas?
This is really good news if we take him on, remember it being said he was a good guy to have around the place as well as being a goalscorer.

Yes it's nice to see him back - trouble is though, I don't think he was that much of a goal scorer for us, was he?

Goodness, some folk are hard to please!
I'm more interested in when the club and the free agent get down to talking money, because it'll be a whole different ball game from when he was a Fulham player on loan.
And that could be the deal breaker.
Please let's not mess this up and give the Smurf a chance to move in.

I didn't realise his goal scoring record but I do remember that he runs about a lot.

From the snippets I've heard, he has asked to come here. I hope he will accept that we pay what we pay and use this as a chance to reignite his career. He will fit even better with some of the players we have now than when he was here before and it could be the start of something good. We saw last time that he has a bit of pace, knows the runs to make and can hit the back of the net and at 23, he has plenty of time ahead of him to rise again.
Well, if he wanted to come to us, that's good news. I thought that if he'd had Felix Magath as manager he'd be happy to play anywhere, for any price, but I see that he didn't quite coincide with the Great Dictator and his "Arbeit macht frei" training methods.
As a 0.5 goals per game man, it would be great if he do so again, or come close. For the record, I looked up the stats on our other heavy goalscorers, and they are:
Terry Harkin: 0.81
Franck Lord: 0.62
Nicky Maynard: 0.54
