    New manager - club update

    From the official site...

“We continue to work to secure new investment and, in the meantime, the Board has recommenced the process of seeking a new first-team manager.

“The Board has narrowed the extensive candidates list down into something more manageable and will now seek to interview relevant applicants, with a view to making an appointment as swiftly as possible.”

I fired that into google translation:

"We have failed to secure new investment and in a panic the board has reversed our decision of two weeks ago to hold off appointing a new first-team manager.

"The board has narrowed the extensive candidates list down to those willing to work for nothing and will now seek to interview cheapskate applicants, with a view to making an appointment after we get pumped by Celtic."

That made me laugh out loud but sadly a chilling touch of reality about it.

Too late.the horse has bolted, another f!!k up by the so called custodians of the club. This should have happened before cuptie at least.
I think its too late to appoint a new boss, the damage is done, promote temp wise from within till season ends, save money ,and review at end of season again when all should be resolved.

Good one. And regrettably bang on the money.

In other words, "we're gonna talk to the dead-beats who've yet to withdraw their application".
Just checked the job spec again - they've now added 'should be experienced in getting pumped out of all sorts of cup competitions ... with but a whimper'.

I think we will find there is now no interested parties why else would we suddenly do a complete somersault and now say its prudent to appoint a manager whilst ownership is now undecided.I would dearly love to find out that in view of the Society failing John Boyle has decided to take over the reigns again. Not asking him to put money in but to try and improve how we do our business won't hold my breath though.

Personally I've interpreted it as the Well Society will win the race over ownership, as such we can crack on and hire a new gaffer.

    Surely good news.

The Well society taking ownership is good for the club existence, not so if we want to do anything other than fight relegation or end up in the lower leagues.

Likewise. Almost a horlicks down the nose moment.
