The match itself doesn't appeal to me, nor do testimonials in general, but what an outstanding player he was for us for many years and a nice bloke.

It seems funny that he signed for Rovers for a fortune and was dire, and signed for us a few years later for free and was a revelation.

A real Bolton legend in my book.

They don't normally appeal to me either but I suspect that he'll be doing it for his charity which would make it worthwhile. Also, as campo says, it will be good to see some of our other great former players again

I see Dean Holdsworth (Campo21 once wanted him as our manager) is now going to be playing in BKD's testimonial. I wonder whether the club will be able to find a XXXXXXXXL shirt for him? I doubt even Jardel's old top would stretch around Deano these days.

Campo don't let garyp wind you up you know he's a weezle !

    but apart from that !

big kevs day will be brilliant and great for us all to say a big good bye to those players which we never got to say goodbye to because gartside got rid in a hurry.

great to see this club coming together under the mgt of lennon and with this testimonial bringing all our best hero's back once more for us to salute them when before we never got the chance !

    defo going to this match

really like how lennon is bringing in a few vetrans to the club like gudjohnson and I hope heskey proves himself too as heskey or gudjohnson could be our power house subs to get us points on the board.

if we score points in every game to the last game of the season meaning win all our home games and win or draw all our away games then the play offs here we come and with big wise old birds like gudjohnson and heskey and maybe one or two others or even a couple of celtic players then this could be a fantastic oppotuity to get

I don't want to appear cynical on this, but I wouldn't be surprised if BKD's Mrs, Emma has a big influence over which team we play (££££) I just hope to God, we don't end up playing Celtic at home, I would be seriously worried about Eric's ticker if so.
