I must admit I felt sorry for him today.
He was completely ineffective, was constantly giving the ball away and our fans weren't exactly patient with him.
He even looked out of his depth against Bury earlier in the season, so I was amazed to see him start today.

He was dreadful. Glad the crowd didn't get on his back but he needs to do a hell of a lot better than that

Unfortunately, Conor looks like he should be playing football at a couple of league's below us at this moment in time. There was no way in this world that young Conor was going to score today, I know he didn't get much if any support from our midfield, but his touch and general awareness, just didn't look up to it today.

He is a young lad just starting off his career, but it was apparent that he is not strong enough at the moment. One the few occasions he got near the ball he was easily knocked off it.
Another problem was because of the injuries we kept picking up, he was fighting a lone battle up front. An impossible task for someone with so little experience. The game will have done him the world of good.

I hope that it has done him the world of good eric and not knocked his confidence. I hope that Lennon throws him in the next game and basically says "listen son I know you had a sh1tter but go out there and prove everyone wrong"
We need young players like him to take the knocks and bounce back and I suspect that Lennon is the type of manager to encourage that
