    Kick out diving

Watched the Chelsea v Hull game on MOD and it was a total embarrassment.Three absolutely disgraceful dives by Chelsea. The ref spotted two and gave yellow cards but bottled it when it really mattered. We can't even blame it on the "foreigners" - Cahill was one of the worst offenders

I agree with the idea that a team of ex professional manager, players and refs should be able to look at video evidence and suspensions should be dished out to the cheats.
    It would stop overnight

Totally agree. Its plaguing the game, as is feigning serious injury. We saw the big forest centre half yesterday rolling around as if he'd been shot, then re-enter the game after a lengthy hold up as if nothing had happened.
The problem you'd have with ex-players are that alot of them who seem to think its ok to dive in certain situations. Phrases like "he earned that penalty" or "there was contact" spring to mind.

Trevor Phillips was doing it for us 40 years ago and may have even been a pioneer in the art!

No, I think Brian Phelps started it. In fact I think he got done for doing it with 16 yr olds.

Lets face it, unless the FA adopt retrospective bans for this, aided by playback, this will carry on, and anyone who thinks this is a modern thing is kidding themselves.
I would suggest a 3 game ban for anyone found diving, that would soon sort the cheaters out, lets face it, refs get one shot at it, and some of these players are pretty good at conning them.

Tony towner did it against wednesday at millmoor...i saw it from the tivoli and swore blind he'd been downed..when i saw it on the telly i couldnt believe he dived...he got the penalty what emlyn hughes put away and i wished he was here now with all that team..he would have ripped all these teams apart...

Totally agree in respect of the panel and bans for diving and feining injury but its not new, we would have struggled with Alan Lee, conning the refs dropping to his knees, gaining a free kick which sedgy often put on either swailes or maccas head to score. we would never have had 4 seasons in the championship without it.

There's always an exception to a rule, and that's the one
