    Players in on Xmas Day

Our new manager has made his mark already by telling the players they have to be at training on christmas day. Im sure they will not be happy at that but they have got themselves to blame for us being in this perilous position and will need to work hard to get us out of it and if this means training on xmas day so be it.

If true then I'm impressed because that squad and certain members badly need a good kick up the backside particularly as there was zero standard set for them under the previous regime with mccall''s easy come, easy go approach to training and discipline.

Professionals know the deal when they sign up, I doubt they'll be that bothered.

With a ***** game coming up, it is 100% the correct thing to do.

The first step in the right direction in getting our team back to the fitness required to compete fully for 90 minutes 100% support this move by our manager

About time something was done to improve on a bit of fitness. May help us to stop losing goals in the last 10 minutes of games.

This will have absolutely no impact on fitness. The manager has presumably decided for a Wednesday day off rather than Thursday, which is fine, but he certainly won't be doing fitness stuff two days before a crucial match and the start of a three games in eight days spell.

no idea why this is happening, if anything it may negatively affect moral being dragged in xmas day.

training on 24th / 26th would be more than sufficient for Saturday. It's seem a bit scrooge like to me!

As far as im aware its for 2 hours 12 till 2 so wont kill them but a lot of managers do this if teams under performing but i would personally say win on Saturday and we will cancel it and if they dont then cant blame anybody else
