    This day in 1993

Tommy Bryce scored a world record hat trick in a 6-0 Doonhamers win against Arbroath at Palmerston . He actually scores four that day. Does that bring back memories to any ?

Good point Palmlad . The famous hat- trick was timed at 1min and 46 secs and I wonder how we could accurately time it as that and who timed it . Ref ? Queens historian ? Or whoever ?

I remember the weather that day .. very wet, so decided to stay home, warm and dry.

I remember it well although at the time and to this day, to me, it seemed more like five minutes than under two.
Magnificent achievement from a great club servant.

In true Queens fashion I seem to remember that was our first game after being thrashed 8-3 at Forfar in the Scottish Cup.

Glad you brought this up JR.The Sunday Post had ex-Don and Buddie Ian Scanlon as netting a hat-trick in 165 seconds 40 years ago for Notts County and i thought it must of been close to Tommy's record.Unbelievable effort from both players.
Anyone know the timing of Tommy's slower hat-trick?
