    Correct Footwear?

Having taken a training session today on an all weather pitch at 4pm with a local youth team.I hope Mr Baraclough will invest in the right type of footwear for the players if the same conditions are still here on Thursday otherwise we could be made to look silly slipping and sliding all over the place, remember due to the type of playing surface at Hamilton no underground heating system is in place, and frost can have an effect

I thought the modern generation of artificial pitches were meant to render frosty conditions completely irrelevant. A few years ago Dunfermline's "state of the art" pitch was very treacherous in cold conditions.

They can still freeze up, but it has to be extremely cold. I liked Baraclough's tones in the press the other day regarding Hamilton's pitch. Whereas McCall had us beaten before we stepped on an artificial surface, Baraclough was saying there will be no excuses about the pitch, basically just get on with it, he said they're not ideal but not as bad as some would suggest.

We really are in trouble, if professional footballers (And the Kit Man) don't know what sort of footwear they should have.
