Gray criticises Everton.
Former Everton striker Andy Gray believes that Roberto Martinezs' side are too soft defensively and must stop leaking goals.
Martinez had a fantastic campaign with Everton during his debut season, but things haven't quite gone as smoothly in his second term as they lie 12th in the league.
Everton's latest defeat came on Sunday as they went down 3-2 to Newcastle at St James' Park, their fourth loss in five league outings.
Gray feels the problems lie defensively and the stats appear to back that up as the Merseyside outfit has shipped 31 goals in 19 games.
Gray said:
"I'm a little concerned, if I'm honest.
"Roberto is maybe trying to soften Everton a little too much. The stats don't lie, and Everton's defending is nowhere near as good as it used to be.
