    Thoroughly deserved.
An excellent ambassador, not just for Crewe but for lower league football too!
I'll raise a glass to that!

For services in the past yes indeed well deserved. The man had the vision to back gradi's radical plans, well done john. Now tell us the truth about the myriad companies and hassalls deeds in the boardroom. Pretty please?

Many congratulations. A true fan of Crewe Alexandra and a long term, dedicated and selfless supporter of football.

This is a time for praise. We don't need or want a sugar daddy; we need what we've got as a Chairman - unswerving loyalty and dedication.

Many congratulations. In this mad world of football chairmen he stands head and shoulders above the rest. Very well deserved.

I can only agree with the other guys re this award for John Bowler. It is fabulous to be a very long term supporter of a club with not one but two MBEs.

The only surprise for me is why it took the powers that be 16 years to recognise that, whilst DG was the driving force behind the "re-birth" of Crewe Alex in 1983, it takes two to tango!
