No Crowd in Gresty Road end

With a large crowd expected today, 4000 approx. in main stand and the visitors filling there allocation why does the club not do something to fill the Gresty Road end. They could have sold tickets at £15 and got it full. Then we would have had some noise to compete with the Preston fans. As it was it was almost empty and was very quiet. The neutrals who just turn up for the Christmas game would have still gone into the main stand but we need to get the vocal crowd back behind the goal and lift the team.

Totally agree and has been discussed many times on here.

I might go as far as saying reduce to £10-£12 or buy one get one free !!
The team needs vocal support behind the goal

    Safe Standing. £10 a head.
    Just my opinion.

All very well getting that end full to the rafters, but it would have to be made safe. No good standing behind those seats... recipe for disaster. As someone suggested, it would have to be either safe standing or a blanket rule on "stay seated". It would be unfair on those who have purchased a seat, to expect them have their view obstructed. This needs to be thought out properly.

I agree that we, and any other club, should be able to install safe seating, but it will require a change in the law to do so.

There has been a lot of movement on this recently, including a private members bill I think, and hopefully this will happen over the next few years, despite the opposition of Liverpool fans. Something to ask your prospective MPs for their views on when they come troubling you over the next few months!!

They don't bother to trouble us here in Congleton, I am afraid. Safe Tory seat. Easy for them.
