I agree, looking at current form the main aim should be not to concede. Sadly, I just don't think we are good enough when we don't have the ball. :/
Come to think of we're not much better when we have it either.![]()
The planned meeting didn't take place today as Fawaz was in London.
So Pearce gets another chance. To be fair, very few managers in his position would have been afforded this long.
He's got to somehow pull a rabbit out of the hat Saturday. Best way is just packed the defense and hold out for the draw, and maybe hope that 1 opportunity might present itself.
Attempting to play Derby appears suicidal given their recent form.

Pearce was effectively gone last night, but the club are worried about a backlash from the fans, and a lack of support for an incoming manager.
They had observers at the match on Saturday who although noticing the full support before and during the first half, noticed a clear change in the second half, including people leaving early, some boos & poor morale after the match. Because of this they thought they would be able to move out the manager with little argument!
However following fans reactions on Twitter, Facebook and the internet generally they have basically given Pearce a stay of execution. This morning's meeting was very emotionally charged!
