How can our manager take any positives from a 5-0 thumping. Disgraceful. injuries or no injuries.
the only positive from today was that Ross County and St Mirren are pish as well.
I will be interested in Baracloughs take on events. Totally disgusted with our team tonight.
Well have just Listened to Baracloughs interview and he is looking for players to fight for the claret and amber of Motherwell. They need to start fighting for their own Jobs!!!!!!

Yesterday's defeat was down to a combination of factors. A huge and increasing injury list certainly didn't help and had the situation been reversed Accies would have struggled badly. That said the current squad is badly in need of an overhaul and we have Stuart McCall to thank for that.

As for the game itself, I'm with Ian Baraclough on that. The biggest factor was that we didn't compete. Forget about tactics, skill and ability, the final outcome was largely due to lack of determination, poor work rate and in some cases poor mental attitude. When the likes of Martin Canning and Dougie Imrie look like world class players that tells you how poor we were.

Weak refereeing did not help either. A series of 3 very bad tackles went unpunished and had yellow cards been shown then Accies determination might have been curbed slightly.
