If we end up bottom in January...

... we should do as the Jambos did and start building for next season and if that means Championship football so be it. We need to get rid of the utter imposters that infest the club and includes black and leitch get George Adams back and start with a clean slate.

I'd hate to perceiver with the utter duds at our disposal right up to the summer then we have to start running about trying to build a team for the championship and being unable to secure anyone until last day of transfer deadline in August 2015.

Even getting shot of 6 players on say 70 grand a year , buying out their contracts and tell them to fpuck off may cost us £180,000 but the useless fuuds we have will cost us a damn site more in the long run. If we go down we will get a parachute payment that will more that cover binning 6 / 7 duds early.

a small part of me was half hoping that we would get Derek Adams for manager as it wouldve meant George Adams coming in.

Someone like him or John Park is needed (ironically both were here before) , unfortunately they dont grow on trees. We need a conveyer belt of youth coming through to play in the team and to sell on , doesnt everyone though and if Rangers couldnt/cant get someone to fit the bill with their resources what chances do we have ?

Scott Leitch hasnt really been in the job long enough to judge him yet

Not sure about giving up and releasing everyone in January , the split seems to mean that usually the basement side still have a chance until the end , we wont be able to rebuild until the summer anyway , anyone we are looking to sign wont be getting offered a deal they cant refuse and so will want to consider their options and decide in the summer.

Not aimed at you but im dismayed at the talk from others about not going back , pathetic stuff, hopefully said in the heat

I thought about George Adams to. One of the best in the country at bringing through youth players. God knows we need a shake up in that department.

Im no Rockefella myself Stevie and suffered it in the rain as we chose to sit down front so we could sit together. Drenched. That was awful today , they looked like they didnt fancy it so wouldnt try

Ive suffered manys a humiliation but will still go back like most of us do.

Just think its poor coming on here and saying i wont be back. If its the usual f'd off at the latest slap in the face knee jerk reaction we've all had then fair enough.

If losing a game (albeit in that manner) does it then p1ss off and dont bother coming on here with the pearls of wisdom

Was dead easy to support them 6 or 7 months ago when we were winning wasnt it.

Afraid I can fully understand those who said they aint going back. People have dozens of things in life to do with their money and who in gods could blame them from walking away from the utter dross, not just today, we've been served all season. You just gotta accept diehards are uniqu

Manager on Official Site said it all in effect 'some players did not roll up their sleeves and get into it so probably won't feature in plans for future, young players will get a chance.' Walking away won't help the club and given what the manager inherited it's going to be an almighty struggle to stay up.
Alarm bells were their last season but not heeded early results this year pointed to troubled times and proved correct. Our new manager is well aware of the short comings and will have to be very resourceful to keep us up.
Relegation could spell the demise of the club and we might not make it back up certainly it would be one hell of a struggle.
I remain somewhat optimistic we will prevail and games against Killie and Dundee and other bottom six clubs might be winnable and give us a lifeline. But it will be next season before we really get to see the new managers team, till then it's going to be a tough season. Games against Aberdeen Accies Dundee Utd and Inverness are likely n

Interesting idea though given the way we're apparently losing fans after our best league form in 70-80 years, I doubt the rest of the fan base would accept giving up with five months to go. And we've seen that a big summer turnaround is possible without being relegated - scraping 10th this year doesn't mean next year will be as bad.

Hearts were different to us not only with admin but their fans guaranteed one or two years out would see them come back stronger. We have no such guarantee and I'd suggest that our current position isn't actually far off what we deserve.

As for individuals walking away, on one hand it's perfectly understandable, on the other I don't understand it at all. Everyone can make their own choice but it's certainly not going to help make things better.
