Let's cut the Crap about all this Anti-Fawaz thingy.

Our 'learned experts' from other clubs seem to understand the goings here much better than ourselves, or even club insiders. But yes there's a small band of our own who still doubt Fawaz.

Heck maybe he'll call it quits 1 day, maybe he'll throw in the towel. Maybe he's in it only for the money or glory (however unlikely that seems). Maybe he's naive or just plain silly.

But let's not forget 1 thing - we were in limbo after Doughty's death. Bless his soul, Doughty saved us and spent millions with little or no reward. But as I said his mistake was not plumping most of it in 1 or 2 seasons, he did it piece-meal, 5-6 million each year thereabouts. Unfortunately we had managers who bought players that couldn't perform and this caused the AP to hold back financing new players at critical times.

Still no 1 can accuse Doughty of impropriety or against the club he loved. Take a look at our previous owners, even from Cloughie's era, Doughty's a saint compared to them.

    Fast forward to Fawaz's

But I don't think Fawaz has missed a payment to his players. Maybe there might have been a delay, but I'm positive no player here has missed 2 consecutive payments, ie; 3 and 6 months mark.

Maybe he's been tardy, but I think with a CEO and proper team, this has been addressed. Coming back to his finances or lack of it as alleged - would a man in not so healthy financial state sack what is it now - 4 managers? Did he not pay them? And they didn't come cheap either, estimates are he forked out between 1.5 to 2 million on them.

Sure he's also brought some of his own type of players - from Kuwait and maybe the 2 Algerians. But this very normal, with foreign owners, they have to show their home nations they have not abandoned them. Everton, Leicester and a whole range of clubs have some kind of policy of allowing players from their owners' countries to come and train, maybe even given a contract. This is appeasement and 'giving face' - a culture very common in Asia, Arabic and some Afric

Like them I'm sure Fawaz knows how far he wants to go, how far he's prepared to fork out without a return of some sort. He did not become a rich businessman by simply throwing his money about and making reckless investments.

But he has his excesses, his own 'toys' or 'projects', where he's more interested in the satisfaction and experience than worry about the money spent. We hope that Forest is 1 of those.

And clearly thus far, it seems so, from his ambitious dreams. We may look at it more logically and say no way, but are we in any position to be able to have direct influence or possess the financial ability to do the those things. Fawaz obviously believes he has it and that's why he can dream.

It may prove impossible in the end, and he might realise it. But until that day comes, we cannot fault him for trying.

Now in regards to Pearce, he may decide he has to wield the axe. We might disagree, but it's his choice to make, and basically it's his alone. It might be hasty, but we
