    Guly signs up for soccerball..

    ..as an 'offensive-minded pickup' on the roster for Chicago Fire.

    Pleased to see him land a contract and wish him well - as a sniper who spends most of his time over the midfield stripe, let's hope he can keep it in bounds, make the odd steal and net a score or two from in the six. - view external link

    Good luck to Guly, I am glad he has got a job which probably will be quite lucrative.
    My favourite memory of Guly was a goal against Bristol Rovers in our promotion season from Div 1. He danced through the defence and rolled it in. The Chapel went bonkers (as usual).

    It is. American 'soccer' commentary never fails to amuse me - they might as well be talking about a completely different sport..
