Greavsey, i put avast on my old smartphone and on my tablet. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Greavsey I recently went from BlackBerry tab to a Samsung one and looked about the net for advice on this and like you say there are many contrasting opinions on this subject!

My son still uses our laptop and I've always had Norton on there and it was due renewal and as I've always done, I purchased the previous years Norton Internet security suite and best deal for that at the time was at Pc World which threw in the mobile version at no extra cost!

Installed it on the tab and the family's mobile phones and it runs great with no performance issues etc on all devices.

Like Gav said, up to you and better safe than sorry and plenty protection available via play store.

To answer your question ain't got a clue lol!

You will certainly need protection with the sites you look at mate

It's simple, if you want protection, wear a condom whilst surfing the net.
