Very interesting read. We must have been financially close to the bone. Sounds as if Mr Hutchison has basically saved the club from another bout of administration.

Why, why, why are we so financially embarrassed?
Where have we lost all our income, which is probably the bog standard for 8 PM teams.
Not saying there has been any wrong doing, but they have made a proper Noel Hunt of running the club the last few years.
He was part of Dempster s board that has left the club in the state in its current condition.
Not good enough, write all the blogs he wants, let us down pal.

Rather harsh andyss IMO. Let's be frank, we don't know the ins n outs of sitting on the board of a footie club and the challenges faced day to day. Don't know the bloke from Adam, but it's easy to see he's a diehard fan like the rest of us. Some 'cutting of slack' seems appropriate.
We ain't the sort of club that's going to get MBA qualified Directors - so let's make the best of what we got, eh?

Fair point Seib, maybe I was a bit out of order. Loads of things have went wrong, people are only human and make mistakes with best intention at heart.

Jesus we do like to stick the boot in to our own. Keep the kicking for the opposition. Give the guy a pat on the back for his hard work. We need guys like Andrew Wilson who can and have stepped up to the plate. These people who do this have the best interests of the club at heart like we all do with absolutely no ego stroking going on.
Good blog by a very intelligent and successful business and family man and most of all one of us a WELL FAN!

Boyle didn't write off all of his debt did he?

Is that where the money went that left us to borrow off the fans AGAIN.
