    SEVEN PLAYERS!

PEARSON, STRAKER, LAING, LONG, THOMAS, GRANT & JOHNSON.
Beyond my wildest expectations for the transfer window so full marks to the manager, the board and everyone involved in funding this.
We have been given a fighting chance of finishing 10th.
It may be enough to make fencesitters like me go out and join the Well society, as long as my wife doesn't find out. ha ha. Season ticket's my limit in her eyes.
    A rough early line up?
    LONG

    KERR/REID LAING McMANUS HAMMELL/STRAKER

    GRANT LASLEY/RAMSDEN PEARSON D.THOMAS

    MOORE SUTTON

A fit Hammell, Lasley and McManus I feel can still play a big part in saving this season amongst the young players.
Remember McManus is on a 2 year deal and I don't feel he's as much a write off as the other usual suspects.

I anticipate the 14th Feb a whole lot more than I did the 9th Aug but we'll see.

Need to disagree on McManus an utter liability. You are correct he has one year to go.

I'd started to lose count- 7 players in!! Thats what you call a squad overhaul. I think our GM said that we'd try to ship a few existing players out on loan now. Interesting to see who departs.

What a day. We'll need a few days away from competitive football to let everyone get to know each other.

I suspect you might see Sutton and McManus leave to fund this. Getting high earners of the payroll must be high up the agenda you'd think. With Ojamma gone that would be 3 big earners to offset whats come in.

Laing should only be 1 game as not violent conduct yes cant believe their talking about bringing more in still surely some would have to go out on loan before that happens
