He's not going to start with Dom Thomas. Why would he play our most talented player? I know I am clutching at straws but the only chance Dom Thomas will start is if he makes a mistake and puts the wrong Thomas on the team sheet. Never been so sick fed up with our manager as I have in the last week. Nothing is clearer to see that Dom has more talent in his big toe than most of the squad put together. The way the lad came on a changed the game against ST Johnstone was fantastic. He lifted the whole of Fir Park from the crowd to his team mates and if Baraclough refused to play match winners we will get Motherwell Football Club relegated end of. Whether they are 16,17, 18 or 19 if you have the skill in my book you are in the team. Every week Baraclough is sticky with the same old dross and guess what it isn't work.

I think you're being a bit harsh on the manager. He's hardly stood by and kept the same team every week. Dom does see

Got to agree with Allan on this 1 as i was disgusted that he never got on the park on Saturday after the way he changed game previous. I never expected him to start but he should have been on last 15 mins at least and to bring on ainsworth who had done he haw all season was a shocking decision IMO. I will give Barra time but when every well fan i know and heard want Thomas to play some part in games then we cant all be wrong as not heard 1 person who thought he should not have been brought on on sat at some stage .

Agree and disagree. The manager is a good guy and I believe he will get it right, too early to be bursting his chops. Young Dom should have came on Sat for sure, on Saturday Ainsworths entrance was my exit as he has done nothing much this season, and like Ramsden is already thinking of their next move, both need dropped.
Sure we will see a positive team on Saturday, both Thomas's and Johnston playing their part, as well as Grant who is a smashing wee player.
Looking forward indeed...although I say that most weeks :-)

I certainly think that Dom T should be brought on as a sub ahead of Ainsworth, who frustrates me. He banged in 11 goals last season, a very good figure from a winger, yet he has been a real disappointment this season. You wonder what goes through the head of a guy like that. Has been with 13 or 14 clubs - has talent - yet does not maximise it.
I think the manager sees Dom T making the most impact when he comes on as a sub when the defenders are getting tired and his trickery has the greatest effect. However, may well be worth giving him a crack from the start this Saturday, just to see how he goes!

I really don't think I am giving the manager a hard time on this one. I think he has done well to bring in another keeper as dan is good but was struggling with crosses. He has also brought in some potentially useful players. What he has failed to do is play our most skillful player at the club
in basically a must win game. This to me is almost unforgivable. If he keeps us in the spfl I will forgive. I like Baraclough he talks well but then so do lots of managers. Doesn't make them any good.
I don't claim to be any sort of football talent spotting guro but for christ sack open your eyes Ian and play Dom. It ain't rocket science.

Ostensibly you're right although we just don't why Dom Thomas wasn't picked. Maybe he isn't fully fit or there is some reason about which we just don't know.
