    Straker

My mates a York fan and he warned me this guy is utter gash. York have a really pi55 poor left back and he still got a game well ahead of Straker.

Now if your second fiddle to to a lower than average player in D2, it seems a really poor signing and thus far proving to be poor.

Just another person to add to the pile of people who should never re-appear in a Well Shirt.

When is Stevie H due back ? we really need him back.

He certainly didn't cover himself in glory yesterday, that's for sure.

Totally agree he didn't cover himself in glory yesterday, but who was supposed to be playing immediately in front of him in midfield as time and time again he was left with two opposition players to pick up.Seems that due to the inability to field the same starting line up each week, players are in different positions and dont seem to understand what their roles and responsibilities in the team are

He's not played well so far but why single him out? He's had absolutely no-one in front of him, no cover whatsoever. Stevie Hammell struggles badly in the same set up. Frequently he's had to deal with 2 attackers running at him. Thats not the case on the right side.

Yep - agree on the frailty of our midfield. Yesterday our 'shape' was all over the place; looked like 5 at the back, 3 up front and only Grant and Lasley in the middle trying to join the dots!

He looked totally inept continually failed to make the simple pass particularly in the 2nd half without managing to make a comllete hash of it. Agree he should not be singled out as the whole team were gash. The Goalie, although caught out with the flukie goal and should have perhaps done better, I though look at least like a keeper. IB's Magnificent Seven look like a bunch of feckin cowboys... another 5hit weekend

Skippy. You cant blame the goalie a total fluke. As far asStraker goes when we signed him I questioned this simply because he cant get in the first team of a club who were fourth bottom of league two. When the question was asked the usual " How dare you brigade" on this forum cried " give him a chance". Motherwell fans never cease to amaze me with their blind tunnel vision no matter what is presented to them. Hes signed with us and I hope he turns out good but the fact is nobody wants him and that tells a story. If nothing else let us be honest about the state our clubs in and indeed let us freely query the cr@p that is presented to us without the claret and amber glasses.

Long was out of position - not by much and the chance of being punished was tiny but there you go. If that had been Twardzik he'd have been crucified and the size-obsessed would be frantically waving their height charts in the air again.

The next time the media arrange a 7 player line up for a photo shoot I want them shot. We did it with Billy Davies magnificent seven and they were utter sh1te. History repeats itself???
