Need to get back to winning ways . Hope the quarter final isn't at the back of the players minds & they're 100% focused on this one .

Would like to see Russell reintroduced to the starting 11 . Sounds like McShane will be fit enough for selection

The build-up to this game has probably suffered with it being sandwiched between the visit of the Champions elect and the Cup Quarter-final. That doesn't make it any less important and it is ***** that the players remain focused as every game between now and the end of the season should be approached like cup games if we are to secure a play-off place.
Hopefully another comfortable win over Dumbarton, possibly boost the goal difference, but winning the points is the most important thing.

The weather could be a leveller, judging by the forecast: rain and strong winds.
We can't afford to give Falkirk any encouragement. 1-1 v Rangers at the moment.

Hopefully get back to winning ways today, but the Sons will be fighting away for every point. We've been poor up front the last two games, really missing Gav's pace and chasing up the defenders. If fit i would start with this eleven today.

    Clark

    Dowie Durnan Higgins

    Kidd Burns Mc Shane Holt

    Carmichael

    Paton Russell

    Up the Queens, attack, attack.

After the Bairns point last night against the currant buns Queens drop to fifth place but hopefully can regain 4th with a win at Dumbarton this afternoon. Just had to be Dumfries - born Rory Loy who got Falkirk's goal and he seems to have formed a good temporary partnership with Baird who has just signed an extended contract with the Bairns as Loy is off to Dundee next season

Certainly looking for a win today although a draw would take us back up to 4th. Is that Baird on an 18 month deal. He`s now had 2 18/12 month deals which actually only cover 2 seasons. Bizarre.

Very bizarre Dobmeister! Baird'll fall out with them too given time.

The 1-1 with Rangers was actually a pretty good result, pegging Falkirk back and keeping us within touching distance of the Ibrox club who we play a week on Tuesday.

A win today is critical to our chances of achieving a play-off place thogh.
