    was listening...

I was listening earlier on to radio sheffield, hoping to hear about the takeover...by was it painful, the flaming music they played, drove me mad...ended up ringing the station to tell them so, bloke sounded a tad put out at my comments, not uptight, surprised perhaps.

that's half the trouble with the radio, a lot of people just automatically switch it on, they're not necessarily listening to the music, it's just there, it washes over them...well it doesn't with me, my problem I know, but it does bug me.

a bit later the presenter came on and said they appreciated all feedback, he didn't mention my comments...then a bit later he said that...they were glad just to be there...

heard the news I'd been waiting for later on, so I phoned them again, told the bloke that I'd phoned in earlier moaning about the music, and thanked him for the announcement of the takeover...my latest call cheered him up...

Main thing is now Ray is that it's all been ratified...They can play as much bleedin music as they want for me from now on...

Sounds like we're gonna get some serious financial backing in the summer for players as well...Do for me.

hiya Braggy...been a long time coming, I'm still so unsure of my feelings about getting into the premier league...I know that has to be the aim, that's what the new owners are here for...nowt else...

I felt so good on Saturday with that result, I do feel that I'd be content enough to be in this league and perform to the standard that they say we showed on Saturday.

I just despise what the premier league is, you get in there and if you're serious about competing against the other teams then you're talking about obscene amounts of money...the other way is you get in there and try to maintain your place without spending those vast amounts, and getting by with what Mr Gray has done this season...team unity...moral...because that's what he's done...

then just keep taking the wads of money that that league give you and then reconsider your policy...a bit like west ham have done...

what I don't want is getting the 6-0 thrashings, disgruntled fans calling for the manager to be sacked...

Was all good listening and just what I wanted to hear...from the press conference, not the music on RS

The owner come's across as really grounded with an expectation that it will take time to get where we all want to go.

It was nice to find out that the overall cost for the club was £37.5 million (which included paying off the charges on the stadium that GHO was so obsessed about) and that the club is now debt free.

I'm expecting TUF to be sponsoring the stadium soon. I know most old school fans aren't a fan of stadium sponsorship, but it's necessary requirement to compete with the big boys. I was also told that with the change, will come upgrades to both the training ground and stadium.

We're are three or four quality players away from competing in this division. This doesn't require us to throw a load of money at it.

SG is now working under a different kind of pressure - to get us to the Premiership by 2017, but I'm sure he will thrive under it.

There so much to look f

Let's wait and see what happens. Far Eastern investors don't have a great track record (e.g.Cardiff and Blackburn) and I was a bit alarmed when I read the Wednesday accounts on the website that we lost £5 million last year and the overall debt appears to be £11 million but I wouldn't be the greatest at reading financial statements.

let's be optomistic in our outlook, let's believe that Mr Mandaric has done his homework on the people that have bought the club.

let's put our trust in Mr Gray to be dilligent in the players that he brings to the club.

and, as fans let's support both parties in their ambition to take this club as far forward as they can.
