    Good news and it looks like the business plan of Les Hutchinson (and his additional funding) are allowing us to sign good young players like Watt and Thomas on decent length contracts. For too long, two years seemed to be the policy/maximum financially and the result was guys leaving for free or for reduced fees in the January window.
    These longer contracts give time for these young lads to develop and, if they do turn out to be top players and valuable assets, we still have decent length of contract with them, which will see purchasers have to pay the proper market rate.
