    Motherwell come close at Pittodrie

Oh Calamity! The first goal lost was poor but the second was a joke. Still, the first half was very good. - view external link

Sorry JWOK but we cant defend like that tonight no matter how well we played in first half, otherwise we wont get many more points.Defence needs to play as a unit not individuals

    Says it all really -

"In the second half you were thinking Aberdeen would be tested. But they were gifted two goals in two minutes. The goals were incredible! Ash Taylor given a free header, unchallenged at the back post! The second goal was from a 'nothing' ball down the middle. After they got the two goals they were the superior team, there is no doubt about that. It would have been interesting to see how they would have reacted if they hadn't got those goals."

The first half was decent, especially in midfield and upfront but that's no use when you fall away badly in the second half and proceed to gift a side who were playing well below par on the night, two ridiculously soft goals. When you are fighting relegation at the business end of the season you just cannot afford to throw away a winning position so cheaply, regardless of the opposition.

Maybe I'm easily pleased but I'm confident if we play like that till the end of the season we will be fine. Mistakes happen but both Long and Laing look good additions and we didn't get opened up at all in open play. We were more than a match for a second place Aberdeen. I'm very dissapointed but happy with the way we've battled tonight.

Just hope Ross County and St. Mirren dont get a lift by us losing tonight and take something from their games tomorrow

I think we will beat Hamlton and a good few others with that team and the overall battling attitude. It would be great to have Stevie Hammell back for the run in as it's the only real weak spot.

Left back is the only real weak spot in that team??? I assume you must have had your eyes shut when McManus, Laing and Long combined to gift Aberdeen their second goal tonight then? Or were you in the pie queue every single time we've lost a cheap goal thanks to a free header inside the box on several occasions this season with our centre halves posted missing and our right full back failing to prevent the cross? Or what about our entire midfield with the exception of possibly Pearson all season long?

No disrespect but if you think that Stevie Hammell being out through injury is the only problem we have just now then you must be watching a different team to everyone else.

I'm referring to the team since the new manager has made the huge changes not the rest of the season. I go nearly every week so don't insult me. We've made good progress recently and it doesn't help when so called fans like you spout your bile from a keyboard and at Fir Park. I never see you on here when we've won. Enough said!

Okay...so if we take since Baraclough has come in and brought in his own players into consideration rather than the entire season then...you seriously think that left back is the "only real weak spot"? Your words not mine. Our defence is a shambles and we are gifting sides at the very least a goal a game and have brought in a goalkeeper no better than Twardzik, Laing who is as poor as McManus and Straker who is one of the worst footballers I have ever seen.

I'm not insulting you, I just find your comments baffling. I too go every week and that qualifies me to give my opinion as I see it and although
