Forest Away: even though we have nowt to lose tomorrow

    We should:

    PARK THE BUS

I never thought I would say this but a point at Forest and keeping our goal difference level with Wigan is worth considering.

Sounds tempting but I don't think we're good enough defensively to do it.

Lack of quality defenders has been our "elephant" for months now.

Four points from our next two games would be massive.

Come on you mighty reds we can do it.

But all we have to do is match what wigan do game for game and we will be fine.

    So no pressure on tomorrow.

Do you think SE should rest some of our players for our MASSIVE game on Saturday?

IBS...Do that and we will be hammered 4 or 5 nil..Forest are in the groove at the mo and will punish us if we sit back..we are not capable of seeing out 90+ minutes...

I would rather see us having a go and losing...is parking the bus worth paying the price to all those travelling fans?

As for your point of 'even though we have nothing to lose'...'We have everything to gain' by a win...

As things stand Wigan would go above us with two wins (however unlikely), taking that advantage to three games with only eight left to play would be 'massive'. Agree, we can't hope to defend for ninety minutes but a 4-2-3-1 formation with Arnie and Smallwood in front of the back four could give us more solidity with the opportunity to hit them on the break.

Got to rest players for me, quite a few players don't look fit enough to play midweek games because of how hard they work on a Saturday, especially Pringle, to his credit.
