Happy birthday buddy, shame about the result but we'll do em next season!![]()
Today was my Birthday, and more than anything else,i wanted 3pts from the Miller's,but alas it was not to be,i thought the performance was good, but not the result,i go home and away to watch my team, and i can tell you this,i have come out of the NYS, and some of the away games,Reading and Watford spring straight to mind, gutted with the result and performance's,but not today,i felt genuinely sorry for the team,i dont think at any stage of the game today, they thought they were in danger of losing that match, but i am sure the gaffer will have them fired up for the Birmingham game,as i am certain they will not want to let 3yrs hard work go to waste, and end straight back down to league one, come on lads lets get the job done, and secure another season in the Championship,UTM.

Great post.
Thank,s MM.
I must admit that I was gutted by the result today.
Probably the worst I've felt after a match since the play-off game against Dagenham and Redbridge.
The importance of the game to our Championship survival. The opposition. The 3rd defeat on the bounce. The manner and timing of the capitulation. These were all factors in making it a "perfect storm" for us.
But, now I've stopped crying, your "ah well" attitude is definitely the way to go.
We've lost 3 games but acquitted ourselves well in all 3 and could have won any or all of them (I know "could have" doesn't count towards the points tally but it is a bit of a silver lining)
