    Bri's Charity night...

Thought someone might have dropped a post on this so here goes...

Good all round night enjoyed by all who attended...

Special Mention to Mick Mangham very funny bloke who kept us laughing and yes Mick we got all your jokes /quips...shame they whoosed over others heads...

Onto the night and Brian should take a big bow for what he delivered for those who paid to attend...okay so the pie and peas were missing but due to last minute let downs Bri had no option but to book the AESSEAL NYS which ain't cheap but no moans about the food well not from me as Bri delivered me a beautiful pork pie...cheers for that fella

There was some good sums raised through the auction where both Mick and Shaun kindly donated the prizes along with others so well done everyone who gave the prizes on offer...

Entertainment was provided by a free DJ with some good tunes played... well those dancing thought so...and onto Mr Charlie Graves...serenading us in his classy silk white shirt and very tight le

Glad it was a good night Brin, I had a ticket but due to unforeseen circumstances I couldn't attend, which was a real pity as Bri's father-in- law is on old friend Id lost touch with and he was there on the night.
Well done Vespa Bri and fingers crossed for the next event

HiBrin,Glad i made a few laugh! As you know there was a few children in the room so had to be careful.Having said that It was about Bri making a few quid for his charity that was important. On a personal note i would like to thank those who attended and thank those who donated. On The other hand if anyone wants a compere who can help you out give me a call,I will raise you money with plenty of laughs along the way.

Bri and Brin, I'm really sorry that I didn't make it down to the charity night, I was looking forward to meeting you all.

At short notice, some old mates arranged a reunion at the Bridge Inn on the same night. I fully intended popping down at some point but it was a a hectic night and I didn't get chance and ran out of time.

    Sorry again, fellas.

PS a couple of the mates were playing there in a local band called Papa Legba's. I'd recommend seeing them, they are brill.

Great write up of a top night Brin.

Perfectly organised by Vespabri and everyone had a good night so thank you.

The beard shaving donations ended up being close to £200 for children with cancer to add to pot loads raised by all. Thank you very much for all of the contributions. Although me being clean shaven is polarising opinion and the beard took years to grow, I'd do it all again for such a great cause.

Brin I hope you took the right autographed framed picture home eventually and found somewhere for it.

Villa, be careful where you leave your stuff. There's always dodgy characters about.

See you all again on Monday. I'll be the one being asked for ID because of how young I look.

    Thanks Brin.

To be honest i was only a small part of a team that put saturday night on, Mick Mangham, Sean Wallage,Charlie Graves & my nephew Daniel for the disco must take the majority of the credit.

I can"t thank Mick enough, cheers pal.

On a personal note i get such a buzz on the mike, i love it.
I can"t beleive between 07.30 saturday morning and 05.00 sunday all i had to eat was 2 weetabix, just shows you how far you can go purely on adrenaline alone.
Didn"t want the night to end so i dragged the wife to SNAFU until 5.

Special thanks to Scum & Timebomb...top lads!!!

Well done Bri and everyone involved.

PS Don't know what the above is and how you managed to keep it up until 5am but I think it might be illegal in 30 States of the US
