Leyton Orient and Walsall

Honestly these two games are the only realistic wins, which does mean we have to win them to stay up. We all know 51 points is safe and 2 wins would get us past that. Peterborough and Bradford are games we can not expect much from so beating Orient and Walsall is necessary.

However, we all know Crewe never make it easy for themselves so we might win away at Coventry and home to Bradford after losing the previous three games! You never know.

Basically we need to stay up, the fan numbers aren't very high and would suffer from relegation. The quality of loans would suffer too. I could not see us getting the likes of Ness and Leigh on loan in League 2! Plus a day out to Blackpool sounds a lot more exciting than Accrington and Mansfield.

I do think we will beat the odds and stay up however.

Sad to say I don't think 51 points will be enough this year; like many others (I suspect) I've been crystal ball gazing and reckon we will get 51 (beat Walsall, draw with Orient and Bradford) and finish 21st. What makes my crystals even more balls is that we finish below the Vale on Goal Difference!

So I agree, need to win the next 2 home games and pick up a point at Covvy, who aren't in the best of nick either. By the time we play Bradford they may well be out of the play off hunt, which would also be good news, of course.

But all of this conjecture is a waste of time if we don't win on Saturday. I'm off to change my handle to Mystic Meg

Reading some of your posts is like speaking German to an Italian. Our home form since October says we have only conceded 11 goals in 16 games. Five of them against MK Dons, so saying we can't defend is wrong. We have also scored 19 goals at home which is not to bad

Now the famous Inman started yesterday who in your eyes and previous posts was the saviour of the team. If your just going to be constantly negative there is no point typing.

Don't forget folks, itwasin acts like a troll. It seems to me that his/her intention is solely to annoy and demoralise. Just don't rise to it.
At this time of the season the picture can look very different after each round of results so let's not give up hope, and I think trying to predict which games we will get points from is a perilous endeavour. If there was a lot of predictability, the football pools would never have made money.
I think Vale are looking flaky now, and could yet go down with us or preferably instead of us.
