    Team For Next Game

    Rachubka

Baillie / Toots Ray Tate Davis Leigh

    Nolan Grant Ness

    LDV Uche Ajose

(Our 3 on paper best forwards and i believe 2 at the back exposes tate too much so would bring Ray back in)

Would agree with bringing Ray back and Baillie at right wing back. Turton , Grant and Ness for me and Haber for Uche. With your selection GrestyLion I think we should have a chance as we will start with 12 on the pitch. I would leave Ajose out as well. Out of form and LDV looked very good on Saturday and certainly "put a shift in"

Think you are on the right lines

Surely we have seen the last of Inman???

Turton, LDV, Haber and Grant all must start

Uche and Ajose are not worth a start

3 Centre Backs avoids exposing Tate and he can move to bolster midfield if the game needs that

I honestly think we need to go back to the formation which has proven most success and that's the 3-5-2 which turns into a 5-3-2 with the defensive wing backs. With Ness pushing up into the advanced attacking or number '10' play-maker role it doesn't have to be seen as negative.

    GK: Rachubka
    RWB: Baillie
    CB: Ray
    CB: Tate
    CB: Davis
    LWB: Leigh
    CM: Jones
    CM: Grant
    CM/AM: Ness
    FW: Ajose
    FW: Haber

Although LDV might be unlucky to be out the side, Ajose is still the top goal-scorer and it's only a matter of time before both Ajose & Ness rediscover their form and I'd back Ajose to score tonight! Don't care what anybody thinks, Haber is much better than what Ikpeazu has brought to the team since he returned from Doncaster.

Difficult call with Ajose. He is due a goal or 2 and it would be typical to score tonight. But LDV played very well on Saturday and put in a real shift, as they say. But I couldn't agree more about the formation.

The problem with Ajose is that he doesn't really work well when he's on either flank as part of 3 forwards... LDV has proven that he can play on either flank and is willing to put a shift in and he'll be first choice next season.

How many goals has Ajose scored through the middle? I'm willing to bet it's all of them. Haber seems to have a better understanding on which area's to nod the flick-ons to link up well with Ajose so I'd start and try them both tonight and Saturday against Walsall. If Ajose doesn't create much, I'd throw LDV on and give him at least 25 mins.

Personally I would tend to go with a selection that can cope with the one tactic that Peterborough has. Violent bullying.

    Rachubka

Defence Baillie - Davis - Tate - Leigh

    Def/M Ray/Stewart

Midfield LDV - Nolan - Grant

    Forwards Haber - Uche

Please SD stop being so negative. Take the game to the opponents. We know that usually they have a slow ponderous defence. Attack at every reasonable opportunity.

Similar for me with Uche instead of Haber. Got a sneaky feeling that if Ness is not fit we could see Inman in the advanced midfield role

Having seen Uche since his return from Doncaster, I can think of no reason on this earth why he would be selected ahead of Haber

Having seen Uche before his stint at Donacster and the partnership he had built with Ajose I would be willing to give it a go.
