Need to use the legal system

Hopefully common sense will prevail and the authorities will give us a fine however lets say we get points deduction and it is that reduction that means we miss out on safety.
Why should we accept it, the panel are not a court and as such surely we can start the process of taking the FL to court for whatever reason our lawyers want to come up with. lets remember that the courts are used to cause disarray, delays and disruption in every walk of life so why not by us. Remember there are a lot of courts including european courts that have been used by sports teams and sports people in the past.
If we file a motion requesting an injunction in the high court that until our case is resolved legally that league 1 and the championship cannot start for the next season, on the basis that we don't know who the teams are. Imagine the chaos around english and european football if that injunction was successful. There is a european championships next year that would be impacted if any players were

When Blackpool did something similar, didn't they lose the game though. If so, despite cheating they wouldn't have gained from it points wise hence maybe they saw a fine as the fair option.

Sorry Derbymiller but we deserve a 3 point deduction. We gained 3 points by using a player who wasn't registered with us.

If it was Millwall or someone else we'd be calling for a 3 point deduction & you know it!

the argument about the result doesn't make sense. There is no human being alive or dead that can say the result of the game would have been the same or different if the player concerned had not played. The law is based around things having precedents and being reasonable. How is it reasonable for the FL to ignore their own precedent set in the same competition in the same season on the basis that something they can never prove would have been the outcome. You have to play the game with the law, it is never black and white. You build a case, bring in experts and create doubt and uncertainty.

If we were in Millwalls position & they were in ours & they were the ones charged, would you be saying the same? I very much doubt it..

As a millwall fan I hope we secure enough points to survive regardless of whether you are deducted points, I do believe they should be deducted as the player concerned contributed massively, a mom performance from a defender in a 1-0 win, he definitely contributed and the precedents set previously show that if you won the game the points should be removed. However I do hope you stay up as Fulham are awful, worst team I've seen play at den this season . Massive respect to those fans who have put across the scenario of the boot being on the other foot as you would be screaming from the rooftops that millwall should have points removed. I think it will come down to the wire regardless of the technicality whichever way it goes,we will beat one of Blackburn and Cardiff and I fancy us to do derby again. Best of luck millers hope we both survive and see either the oh so quiets(reading), the massively overated(Fulham) or the pain in the arse to get to ground(Brighton) go down.
