    Colchester United

I'm not getting carried away by their 6-0 hammering at Chesterfield. I expect a really tough game as they look to put things right after that. Remember only a couple of weeks ago Colchester won away at Port Vale and then followed that up with a 3-1 win against an in-form Barnsley. In this division a team can be terrible one minute and world beaters the next. They must also be aware they are getting perilously close to the last chance saloon so I'm expecting them to come out with fire in their belly.

The first goal will be ***** tomorrow as whoever is on the receiving end will struggle to keep their heads up. I'm going for a 1-0 victory for the Iron to take us to the brink of safety.

Witnessed a shocking second half today. Yet again we stopped passing the ball and resorted to hoofball. Not that we were great in the first half. Too many of these players have not got the bravery required to control and pass the ball when under pressure. And I'm sure Robins knows this. Major clear out coming in summer. Soft centre in defence again as well. They just don't learn.

I think we will survive now but then the hard work will start if we want to be competitive in this league. We are miles away.

Only plus points today were Hakeeb and the surreal half time entertainment.
