Queens 2-1 Dumbarton - PLAY OFFS CONFIRMED

Well done to the team for achieving 4th place in a very tough league!

Who is it going to be? Looking likely to be The Rangers which gives us little to fear.

To finish 4th behind the so called big three is outstanding . Great credit must go to the manager , the players & the directors who've helped make this possible .

I just wish the Dumfries public would wake up & see what they're missing across at Palmerston . A club going in the right direction on & off the pitch .

Well done Queens . Bring on the Rangers ...or Hibs

Agree totally! At the start of the season it looked a massive task to repeat the previous season's finish. In January some flak was fired, when the evil twins left and no assistant manager appeared.
Result achieved, anything else is a bonus and this team has beaten both Championship rivals recently - woohoo!
ETA players today should have just stayed on the pitch at the end to receive deserved applause; by the time they reappeared most of the crowd had gone home. Is it a Plod/ Stewarding issue?

A fantastic achievement for the club, players, management but most of all the fantastic loyal fans of the super south.
The gloom and doom of the winter has gone and spring hopes eternal, if the Accies could overturn the big boys in last years shootout win, why not the mighty Queens.
Could be a spooky coincidence but, the Grand National jockey followed again with the winner, in England the Gunners could retain the FA Cup and the underdog team in the Championship playoff QOS has its day in the sun once more. Its a much used quote but the queen of the south shall rise up once again.

Outstanding season - players have been superb from start to finish.

Congratulations to James Fowler - what a terrific first season.

Directors also deserve enormous credit for giving the club such a solid foundation and the arena initiative appears to have real potential.

One negative is the very poor response from the Dumfries public - dont know what the club and team need to do to entice a decent following at home games.

Perfectly put RJC . A great season & it could still get better . Fowler has proven his early season doubters wrong so I take my hat off to him & the team .

One little negative from yesterday has already been mentioned . Please don't take the players off the pitch before their lap of honour . It's never worked & never will , thanks

This club is going places .

Terrific achievement by the players and management to reach the play offs in such a strong league and to produce a season which has provided me with so many memories that will last for a lifetime. Results against the Rangers and hibs, beating falkirk so easily earlier in the season, beating raith on a regular basis, the St Johnstone game.

It shows the standard at the club has risen to unbelievable limits because these are games that I for one, was expecting to win. Never in my lifetime could I say that I was expecting queens to beat the likes of rangers and that is due to the manager and players. Putting it simply, the players etc are better than what Rangers etc have got, so we have nothing to fear going into the play offs. The head to head results over the season have shown that.

Who would have been thinking this way just 20 odd years ago when we were happy to get a result at the likes of Montrose or East stirling. The club is banging on the door of the big boys now and it won't b
