    Congratulations Motherwell

Fantastic couple of performances over this playoff. I've often criticised us for not stepping up when it matters most but we've done that and then some in these last two games.

Congratulations to all and GIRUY Stuart McCall, you tactically inept simpleton and bottle merchant.

Got agree with that. Also a massive apology from me to all players and management. I said they never had the stomach for it. By Christ they proved me wrong. Also good to see McCall keep up his big game form. Once again well done. Proud to be a well fan tonight.

Pwoud, vewy pwoud, as the saying goes.

Didn't think we had a prayer but as Lee 'contract for life' Erwin said, battered them home and away, a class above...

    Absolutely amazing.

Indeed. I said on here before the first leg that we had a loser mentality and a yellow streak as wide as the Clyde running through the middle of us and expected us to just meekly roll over...but we didn't and the joke's on me now. Congratulations and apologies to Baraclough and every one of the players, they've more than shoved my words down my throat.

6-1 aggregate, unbelievable, and still stunned by LSM posting !!
We started badly but grew into the game then dominated, just like 1st leg, every time we went fwd it was comfortable.
2 matches to remember with comedy gold for the 1st goal...thank god we were 5 up before that 90th min penalty! Well done to all players and staff for getting it right when it mattered most, onwards and upwards.

They will indeed to down as hero's but just for one day. They overcame the "name" of their opponents and showed more, bottle, spirit and guile against Rangers than many better Motherwell teams before them. I didnt think Lasley was man of the match I thought McManus won it by the length of Airbles Road... why o why he can't play like that in the league games.

I don't think anyone could have anticipated the beautiful aggregate scoreline that will put smiles on our faces all summer long.

    Comprehensive ain't the word!!!

Best team won at the end of the day but I won't forget how pish we have been beforehand I am scratching my head watching last two games thinking erm this the same team I been watching of late. For once we turned up for two massive games.

One thing I am so happy about is no European adventure for us so means we can get a full pre season in.

Now it is down to the manager, to get things sorted out for next season. But in the meantime lets just celebrate today.

Let's face it, we've all spent the last week rehearsing our reactions. Never thought we'd be reacting like this. 6-1 is 6-1 so tomorrow when you get to work and they try and downplay it, it's up to us to point out that we are staying up. Next season? More of the same? I hope not, but then again it all worked out in the end didn't it.
Looking forward to next season already!
