Great news about Matt Richie getting a senior call up but to Scotland...

I thought years ago when he played for pompey he got a call up to a England game and played the last few minutes?

I must be mistaken unless anyone else can remember?

Your a little bit late with this one aren't you? His Scottish International Debut was back in March against Northern Ireland!! As for any England Appearance's...I can find no records at any level!!

From Wiki...Though born and raised in England, Ritchie is eligible to represent Scotland through his Scottish father. On 16 March 2015, he was called up to the Scotland national football team for a friendly against Northern Ireland and a UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier against Gibraltar. He made his debut against Northern Ireland on 25 March at Hampden Park, and took the 85th-minute corner which set up Christophe Berra's header for the only goal of the game.

He played in the home win against Gibraltar too making a total of 2 appearances so far. He never represented England at any level.

Scored a cracking winning goal for Scotland last night when they beat Qatar, ok I know its Qatar, 1.0.

Reminds me of an English born sprinter who competed in the 2002 and 2010 Commonwealth Games for England, Abi Oyepitan bless her cotton socks.
